Sold Out The Rum Dinner

The festival is pleased to announce the 2018 Rum Dinner will sponsored by Facundo Rums. Named for the originator of world's largest rum brand, Don Facundo Bacardi Masso, the Facundo Rum Collection was born of last year's celebration of the 150th anniversary of the family-owned company.

Facundo L. Bacardi, the current chairman, as well as the great-great grandson and namesake of the founder, took a hands-on role, and says, We got together [at the celebration] and reflected that it was time to release some rums that family members have been enjoying for years. An ulterior motive behind this sharing was to raise the image of what rum can be, he adds. "We have the rums that can compete with any Cognac and Scotch."

Wednesday, November 14th
The Glenfiddich Whisky Dinner

Martine Nouet, French gastronomy expert and whisky writer has created a special menu for this event. She matches each dish to a different single malt in order to bring out the best elements of both the food and the whisky. During the dinner Martine will explain her inspiration for each dish and entertain guests with anecdotes based on many years as the unchallenged Reine de l'alambic or The Queen of the Still.

This year's Whisky dinner sponsor is the iconic Glenfiddich. Global Ambassador, Ian Millar, of Scotland and Canadian Glenfiddich Ambassador, Beth Havers will guide us through the amazing Glenfiddich expressions selected for each course.

We are pleased to announce your Dinner ticket includes a VIP reception at Old Government House, Woodstock Road, the home of the Lt. Governor of New Brunswick, Mme. Jocelyne Roy Vienneau. The reception starts at 4:45 pm until 6:00pm. Guests will be piped to the Delta Hotel next door.

Whisky & Art: A Feast for the Senses (3:00-4:30pm)

The NB Spirits Festival is pleased to present a unique event that combines related pursuits of creativity and craft.

Join Martine Nouet as she shares her love of whisky and visual art by matching five special whiskies with five masterworks from the world-class collection of the Beaverbrook Art Gallery.

She will be joined by the Gallery's Manager of Collections and Exhibitions, John Leroux, who will share the wondrous stories of the paintings with you."

This event will be held at The Beaverbrook Art Gallery.

Sold Out The Glenlivet & Speyside with Master Distiller Alan Winchester (3:00-4:30pm)

Alan Winchester has been involved with over 21 distilleries over his 40 plus years in the whisky industry, amongst them the giants of The Glenlivet and Glen Grant, Aberlour, Longmorn, and the hidden jewels of Strathisla, Glenburgie and Scapa. Alan has managed distilleries for Glenfarclas, Campbell Distillers and today Chivas Brothers, where he is responsible for Pernod Ricard's 14 malt distilleries.

In 2009, Alan was appointed Master Distiller of The Glenlivet, becoming the ultimate guarantor of one of the industry's premier distilleries, also undertaking significant expansion to meet the demand across the globe. This experience was used again in the industry's recent growth via his role in, amongst others, the re-opening of Glen Keith and the building of a new distillery on Speyside, Dalmunach.

Join a group of whisky fanatics who share in their passion of the unique and rare drams. Six collectors will offer each ticket holder a sample of one of their prized bottles from their collection.

Sold Out Closed Distillery Master Class (2pm to 3:30pm)

The 4th Edition of this incredible class will not disappoint any whisky connoisseur. Over the years we have offered some of the world's rarest drams at this amazing class. Past classes have offered incredible vertical tastings of Imperial, Dallas Dhu, and Port Ellen. Our host, award winning author and expert, Davin de Kergommeaux will share his passion and knowledge for an unforgettable afternoon.

The whiskies that will be sampled include Pittyvaich 25, Ladyburn and St. Magdelene expressions.

The Sazerac Bourbon Dinner

The last event of the Festival will be one of the best. We are pleased to welcome Distiller Allisa Henley from Tennessee to the festival for the first time. Allisa is a born and raised Tennessean with a passion for all things whiskey. She is especially passionate about Tennessee Whiskey and Bourbon and serves as the Distiller for Sazerac of Tennessee. Allisa plays an integral role in the development of Sazerac's new Tennessee Whiskey, along with other fine Tennessee spirits.

Allisa will host a wonderful paired dinner with some amazing whiskies including Eagle Rare, Blanton's, Buffalo Trace, 1792 Small Batch and Caribou Crossing, as well as the rare opportunity to try Pappy Van Winkle!

The Bourbon Dinner starts at 6:00pm for a pre-dinner recption. Assigned seating for dinner at 6:30pm.
